Flatten my Abs

By MaDonna Grimes - December 22, 2012

Lower Abdominals can be really difficult to get rid of.  With a combination of cardio and abdominal exercises this can be achieved.  Most importantly your eating has to be on track.  When eating incorrectly, gasses develop in your lower abdomen prohibiting your stomach to decrease in fat.  Alcohol, soda, and snacking contributes to lower abdominal fat.  While surprisingly, eating raw fruit and vegetables alone can also give you gasses.  Because these foods are a lot of fiber.  So remember, eat a complete balanced meal, with protein, carbs and water then the  road to lower ab happiness can be achieved.

Hip Lift

1. Lay down on the mat with both hands either on the floor or under the hips.  Put both legs in the air

and cross both feet at the ankles. Leave your head back on the floor, while lifting your hips straight

up into the air, then down.

2. Repeat for 3 sets of 10

Knee Drops

1. Lay down on the mat with both hands either on the floor or under the hips.  Put both legs in the air

with your knees tightly together.  Lower both knees slowly to the left side as far as you can go, then

turning to the center.

2. Lower both knees slowly to the right side as far as you can go, then returning to the center.

3. Repeat Side to Side for 3 sets of 10.  (total of 10 on each side)

Standing Abs Twist

1. Stand with both feet wide apart leaning to one side in a slight lunge.  Begin with both arms bent in

front of your face.

2. Bring your knee up towards your chest while cross your elbows/bent arms across the body.

3. Return to the opening position.

4. Repeat this exercise on both sides.  Try to train 3 sets of 10 on each leg.
